Rock Candy

My favorite business metaphor these days is rock candy. Stir up some sugar in a glass of hot water and drop a string in. Give it some time and you have rock candy.

New ventures are like that. . . The market is full of energy and opportunity, but it'll never amount to anything without a little agitation, a little structure and a little patience.
