I love any game that tests the concepts we trust the most.

Thank you, Ian, for posting this and making it available here and on "Figure Ground". I'm excited to see and help with any changes to come.Paintings on Silencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09699260235468193510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8295194.post-63403175019998728262010-06-29T22:25:53.462-07:002010-06-29T22:25:53.462-07:00Great to see everyone's creativity. Figure/Gro...Great to see everyone's creativity. Figure/Ground is a rich puzzle, and it's nice to see new ideas. Thanks Nicholas for your commentary -- I look forward to delving into the puzzles you recommend.

Ian -- besides a rating system, please also have a way to record the number of moves in the shortest solution, and the moves in the shortest (or at least one of the shortest) known solutions. This will instantly create a wealth of challenges for everyone on the site...who can find better solutions.

The min move #s should show up next to the puzzle names, as well as some indication (color?) of how recent the current best solution is...or perhaps how active the puzzle is (how many times the min has been bested recently). That will make it easy to browse to see which puzzles would be fun to compete on.

-- Scott KimScott Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05562329489667753982noreply@blogger.com
